A Part of 'Time to Connect' – A National Pilgrimage of Art

Tell Me Who You Are

Nestled within an ancient beech woodland in Ipsden, South Oxfordshire, TELL ME WHO YOU ARE is an immersive art installation created to evoke deep reflection and transformation.

This collection of site-specific sculptures is carefully placed within the landscape, each representing a distinct aspect of healing and self-discovery. Visitors are invited to pause, engage, and experience a journey that is both personal and external.

This installation is a sanctuary a space to belong, to let go, and to reconnect with oneself. Whether through silent contemplation or emotional release, the sculptures act as mirrors, guiding visitors from darkness to light, from fear to love, and uncertainty to self-sovereignty. They offer a rare opportunity to sit in stillness, face-to-face, eye to eye with something beyond words, and feel an unspoken connection to wisdom, peace, and renewal.

More than just an artistic display, TELL ME WHO YOU ARE harnesses the energy of its surroundings to create an atmosphere of quiet magnetism. It invites passersby into the secret pathway to sit with the sculpture, reflect, and immerse themselves in the restorative power of nature, encouraging a deeper sense of presence, introspection, and healing.

Growing the Vision

My vision is to grow this project beyond a single location. I hope each visitor leaves with a sense of wonder, a story to share, or the desire to return for deeper healing. I welcome conversations with anyone who feels their home, college, communal garden, venue, gallery, retreat centre, land, or even a city might be the right place for this work to live. Private commissions are warmly welcomed.

Part of ʻTime to Connectʼ

This installation is part of Time to Connect, a national project led by renowned photographer Alistair Morrison. The aim is to select one artist to represent each of 100 counties nationwide. I’m honoured to have been chosen to represent Oxfordshire.

The project’s core idea is to create peaceful spaces for quiet contemplation, connection, and reflection. Time to Connect works with The National Trust in Cornwall, Wiltshire, and Tyne & Wear, and supports regeneration in Sherwood Forest, with six sculptures at sites like Papplewick Pumping Station, Rufford Abbey, and other Nottinghamshire venues.

A sculpture titled Hail and Farewell, honouring the women left behind during WWII, was unveiled for the 80th D-Day Anniversary on the Beaulieu River in Hampshire. This collaboration preserves cultural and natural heritage, placing great art in the environment for artistic, therapeutic, and historic value.

Soundscapes & Voices

Each sculpture has its own themed soundscape, accessible via a QR code. I’ve chosen four people to act as the voice or narrator of the sculpture, each bringing unique experiences as storytellers and narrators. They share wisdom and guided reflections, helping you connect with the sculptures on a deeper level.

Through their words, they offer wisdom, guidance, and moments for reflection, helping you experience the sculptures more deeply. My hope is that you leave with a sense of wonder, a new thought, or an experience worth sharing.

TELL ME WHO YOU ARE is more than a woodland visit, it’s an invitation to connect, reflect, and transform. Art is a window to the soul, with endless layers of healing.

Your Voice Matters

To deepen this connection, I am gathering voices from the public,  wisdom, poems, short stories, or heartfelt offerings. I believe we all hold wisdom within us, and sharing it creates a profound sense of unity. These voices can be experienced both on my website and by visiting the sculptures and clicking the QR code to my website.

My vision is to eventually gather voices from around the world, weaving a global tapestry of shared stories and reflections to share with each other, all pointing at a global connection.
